Collaboration drives innovation. At Pacira, we build partnerships rooted in a shared mission to advance non-opioid pain management—uniting purpose, urgency and results to deliver transformative care for patients.
Pacira seeks to transform the lives of patients by delivering innovative, non-opioid pain therapies to the market. Our business development team evaluates opportunities in the musculoskeletal and pain adjacencies across two broad categories.
We’re interested in innovative assets that focus on non-opioid or opioid-sparing pain management, including products that complement our current portfolio or could gain value from our field expertise, existing partnerships and commercial infrastructure.
We’re open to the opportunity for collaboration or co-marketing as well as asset acquisition or license.
We also seek innovative development-stage assets, with preference for later-stage assets with clinical data and proof of mechanism.
We’re open to asset acquisition as well as collaboration based on co-development and other shared activities and investments.
We invite companies and researchers who share our purpose and sense of urgency to contact our Business Development team at [email protected] to discuss partnership opportunities.

Pacira BioSciences, Inc. is dedicated to supporting independent research and educational initiatives that advance scientific knowledge and improve patient care. This includes investigator-initiated trials (IITs) that explore the safety, efficacy, pharmacology, and tolerability of our marketed products within therapeutic areas of interest. We also provide grants for educational programs and activities, such as conferences, seminars, live events, and online presentations, that align with the therapeutic areas and disease states addressed by our products.
All grant requests are subject to review for compliance with internal policies and applicable legal and industry requirements, including guidance from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Submission of a request does not guarantee support. Final decisions are made by the Pacira Grant Review Committee, and applicants will be notified of the outcome via email after the review process is complete.
